My name is Lori Mirando and I live in Oldsmar Florida. For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about creating things. I refer to my studio as “My Happy Place.”
My Story
As an avid earring lover, I developed a way to craft my own! Now, I have the freedom to choose any size, color, pattern, and shape I desire.
I initially started with fabrics like cotton and linen, but recently, I’ve been exploring the art of working with Mulberry paper. This handmade paper, derived from the Mulberry tree, features long fibers that provide a unique texture. It also possesses stunning translucent qualities that allow light to shine through.
Occasionally, I paint my own designs or add glitter paint for an extra touch of sparkle.
I infuse the paper or fabric with a lightweight plastic and then hand-cut them into distinctive shapes. This process ensures they are water-resistant while remaining light and comfortable to wear.
The earring hooks I use are hypoallergenic and available in silver, antique silver, gold, and antique gold.
I have created hundreds of pairs of earrings for you to choose from. I hope you find as much joy in wearing my earrings as I do in creating them; they truly are made in my happy place.
